Walking Tour

5 Stops

St. Petersburg, Florida is a very walk friendly city and has an average year round temperature of 73 degrees Fahrenheit. Perhaps that's one of the things that Kerouac really liked about living here. For all of Jack's legendary travels like those he wrote about in On The Road, the author never had a drivers license. Experience an abridged version of our tour with walkable destinations in the Downtown and Historic Up-town neighborhoods.

Tour de Kerouac was created by local 501(c)3 charity Friends of Jack Kerouac, based in St. Petersburg, FL. Our organization was founded in 2013 to provide maintenance and raise awareness of the historical and cultural significance of Kerouac's last living residence at 5169 10th Ave North until its sale in June of 2020.
